Common questions

What brands and partners usually ask.

01

What makes healthcare fulfillment different from conventional fulfillment?

Healthcare products can introduce requirements around licensing, storage, batch and expiry controls, traceability and returns. These requirements affect how inventory is received, stored, allocated, dispatched and returned, making healthcare fulfillment an operating and compliance discipline rather than simply a warehousing function.

02

How does Pillbox manage batch and expiry-controlled inventory?

Where products require batch, lot or expiry controls, those attributes form part of the inventory operation. This allows inventory to be identified and handled according to the requirements of the product, channel and applicable operating process.

03

Why does licensed distribution matter in healthcare commerce?

For products and channels where licensing requirements apply, fulfillment cannot be separated from the regulatory framework governing distribution. Pillbox’s experience in healthcare distribution allows these requirements to be considered as part of the operating model rather than treated as an afterthought.

04

How are returns different for healthcare products?

A returned healthcare product cannot always be treated like ordinary consumer inventory. Its condition, product requirements and applicable controls determine whether and how it can re-enter saleable inventory. The returns process therefore needs to preserve traceability and appropriate inventory status.
